Russian Journal of Economics (RuJE) is an open access, peer-reviewed, quarterly journal that publishes high-quality research articles in all fields of economics related to policy issues. RuJE was founded in 2015 by National Research University Higher School of Economics, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy, and Non-profit partnership “Voprosy Ekonomiki”, that is also a publisher. Before 2018 RuJE was published on the platform of ScienceDirect.

Prominent on the RuJE agenda is original research on the Russian economy, economic policy and institutional reform with broader international context and sound theoretical background. This focus is not exclusive and RuJE welcomes submissions in all areas of applied and theoretical economics, especially those with policy implications. RuJE audience includes professional economists working in academia, government and private sector.
